Finally found a top rated inspector in Dubai – sharing my experience

After getting burned on a used car last year (my own fault for skipping inspection), I promised myself I'd never make that mistake again. Fast forward to last week when I found a 2019 Toyota Camry in Al Quoz that checked all my boxes. This time I did my homework and asked around on a few forums before booking anyone. I ended up using a dubai top rated car inspection service that a few people recommended privately. The guy showed up on time, spent about two hours with the car, and sent me a report with over 60 photos including shots of the underbody on a lift, paint thickness readings on every panel, and a full computer scan printout. He found that the car had a repaired passenger door that wasn't disclosed and some minor overspray on the rear quarter panel. Neither issue was a deal breaker but I used the report to negotiate 3,000 dirhams off the price. The seller admitted the repairs after seeing the evidence. I ended up buying the car and feel really good about it because I know exactly what I'm getting. The inspection cost me 550 dirhams but saved me three grand and gave me peace of mind. I'm not naming the company here because I don't want to sound like an ad, but if anyone wants the name feel free to DM me. Just wanted to share that there are good inspectors out there if you take the time to find them. Don't settle for the cheapest option or the guy who can come tomorrow. Wait for someone thorough. Worth every dirham.

Getting burned on a used car once and then never skipping an inspection again is the lesson most people learn the hard way. Really glad it led to a better process this time around.

Repaired passenger door and overspray on the rear quarter panel found through paint thickness readings on every panel. That level of detail is exactly what separates a thorough inspector from a guy with a flashlight.

Using a detailed inspection report with photos to negotiate 3,000 dirhams off and having the seller admit the repairs after seeing the evidence is the perfect outcome. Paid 550 and saved three grand plus bought with confidence.

Over 60 photos including underbody shots on a lift and a full scan printout is the standard every inspection should meet. Anything less and you are paying for someone's opinion rather than actual documented evidence.

Waiting for someone thorough instead of booking the cheapest option or whoever is available tomorrow is advice worth repeating. One proper inspection on the right car beats three rushed ones on the wrong ones every time.
