2014 Jeep Wrangler AC evaporator freezing up – anyone dealt with this?

I've got a 2014 Wrangler and the AC has been doing something weird. After driving for about 30 to 45 minutes, the airflow from the vents drops significantly and the air becomes less cold. If I turn the AC off for 10 minutes and then back on, it works fine again for a while. I did some research and it sounds like the evaporator might be freezing up. I've checked the cabin air filter and it's clean. I'm wondering if it could be a faulty expansion valve or a low refrigerant charge causing the issue. I took it to a shop in Dubai and they wanted to replace the whole AC system for 5,000 dirhams without even doing a proper diagnostic. That didn't feel right. I'm looking for a jeep ac workshop sharjah that actually knows these Wrangler AC systems and can diagnose the freezing issue properly. Has anyone here had an evaporator freeze up on a Jeep? What fixed it for you? I'm hoping it's something simple like a temperature sensor or a expansion valve rather than a major repair. The car has about 85k kilometers on it and I do a lot of off roading, so I need the AC to work well. If you know a good AC specialist in Sharjah for Jeeps, please share. Thanks for any advice.
