Central Management Group calling themselves "Asset Recovery Specialists" – is that even legal?

I need some advice. I've been getting harassing phone calls from a company called Central Management Group LLC. At first, I was confused because the caller said they were from "Asset Recovery," not a debt collection agency. It felt intentionally misleading.

The calls are constant, sometimes two or three times a day, and the person on the line is always incredibly aggressive, talking about needing to hit their numbers for the month. I finally requested they stop contacting me at work, but they called again the very next day.

It turns out "Asset Recovery Specialist" is just a rebranded title for a debt collector, and their aggressive, commission-based tactics can actually violate the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA). I never even received a written validation notice for the debt they're calling about.

I'm at my wit's end. Has anyone successfully filed a complaint or taken action against them for this kind of behavior? I'd love to hear how you handled it before I contact a lawyer.
