iPhone 17 failure to respond to touch since iOS 26.3 update?

Is anyone else dealing with an iphone screen unresponsive to touch since the latest update? My phone does not freeze, but it takes 3 or 4 clicks before it opens an application. I am also considering devicefixes as a professional screen diagnostics since the force restart method does not work any more. Have any of the people been having this particular touch problem through their mail-in service?
