Escalade brake shudder after 60,000 km
My 2020 Escalade has developed this really annoying vibration through the steering wheel when I brake from highway speeds down to about 50 or 60 km/h. It's most noticeable when I'm coming off SZR onto the exits and braking moderately, not too hard but not super gentle either. The car has done about 62,000 kilometers mostly Dubai roads with some trips to Abu Dhabi and I'm pretty sure the pads and rotors are still original. It's such a heavy vehicle so I'm guessing the rotors might be warped from all the stop and go traffic especially during summer with the extra weight and AC running. I've been searching for reliable Cadillac brake pad replacement specialists Dubai based because I want someone who actually understands these American luxury trucks and doesn't just treat it like any other SUV. A neighbor with a similar Escalade mentioned a garage in Al Quoz that does a lot of American cars but he couldn't remember the workshop name. Has anyone here dealt with brake shudder on their Escalade or even a CT6? Would love to know if machining the rotors is an option or if I should just replace everything. Also if you know a good honest place around Al Quoz or maybe Ras Al Khor that stocks quality parts for these please drop the name below. Really don't want to deal with the main dealer prices if I can avoid it.
